 The Friends of Erwood Station Needs you!

We have a great task at hand;

To raise £5000.00 by 3rd September 2013!

Please go to Kickstarter and pledge what you can.
Even the smallest amount can help us achieve our target.
This project will create a free space for NFP groups / charities / artists, and provide space for workshops / demonstartions / talks / group bookings & private events.
We must reach the target or the project regretably will fail.

As part of the project we have produced a video about the carriage restoration and what it will mean to Erwood Station Craft Centre, click here to take a look at our Kickstarter project.

See what benefits you could recieve through donating, look at the right hand side of the page.

Friends of Erwood Station is a not for profit dad and mike 500 cropped smallorganisation set up to help ‘Maintain, Restore and Enhance’ this once busy station; concentrating on railway memorabilia, GWR carriages, locomotive, signal box and the crane, ensuring the historical upkeep of the station for future generations.

As a ‘Friend of Erwood Station’ you will receive free entry to Erwood Craft Centre events, 10 free cups of tea or coffee at the cafe, quarterly newsletters and the opportunity to get involved in fun, satisfying projects with lots of other like-minded people.

To become a ‘Friend of Erwood Station’ for one year we ask for just £10, which goes straight into the restoration kitty.

Friends of Erwood Station also raise money locally through donations, raffles, competitions and events. All money goes towards buying consumables for projects - paint, brushes, sand paper. No money is paid to management etc; F.O.E.S. are run voluntarily for the local community and historic restoration of the station.

You can post us a cheque, or pay with cash next time you’re at the craft centre, providing all your details and how involved you wish to be.

Cheques payable to Michael Cunningham

£10.00 for Single, £15.00 for Household,

£20.00 for Overseas, £30.00 for Group.

Do you wish to volunteer?

You do not have to become a 'Friend' to volunteer. Your support is always greatly appreciated. Please inform us of the skills you can offer i.e. Sanding, painting, general labouring, computer skills, painting, carpentry, environmental knowledge, activity leader etc.
Volunteering can be a fun team building experience, an opportunity to learn new skills or practice old ones, and a chance to feel the satisfaction of helping out your local community - oh and of course you get free tea, coffee and cake throughout the day!
